The fact sheets within this section are arranged by the habit of
attack that each pest has for specific host plants; such categories
include: wood borers, leaf miners, gall formers, defoliators, others.
Upon visiting each category, the user of this site will immediately
find a description of the category and a navigational list of pests
included in that section. Specific pest fact sheets can then be
accessed from there. If you prefer, the insect fact sheets can also
be accessed via an alphabetical
list.
The text and photographs within this section are intended for
educational use. Anyone wishing to utilize them for teaching,
multimedia presentations, or other educational endeavors are welcome
to do so. When using the material within, for such purposes, it
is requested that the photographer and author be cited within
the presentation. In the case of this insect and mite section,
all fact sheets were written by Robert. D, Childs, Entomology
