Identification Notes:

life cycle - perennial, reproducing by seed

stems - upright, hairy growth habit 1, growth habit 2, growth habit 3, stem

leaves - opposite, lanceolate with sharp-pointed tip, wrinkled texture, serrated margins; leaf bases united and surround stem leaves

flowers - heads of white disk (tubulate) florets; terminal flat-topped clusters
