Scientific Name: Galinsoga ciliata
 (Raf.) Blake
Family Name: Asteraceae (Compositae) - Aster or Sunflower Family

Identification Notes:

life cycle - introduced annual, reproducing by seed

stems - upright or spreading, frequently branching, hairy growth habit, seedling 1, seedling 2, young plant

leaves - opposite, oval to triangular, toothed margins, lower petioled, upper sessile, dense hairs above seedlings

flowers - heads of yellow disk(tubulate) surrounded by 5(4) white, 3-toothed, ray (ligulate) florets; terminal and axillary clusters flowers
